This is an absolute achievement and groundbreaking records for me. I never thought I will ever get this far as a local guide. It was very hard enough to get to Level 10 some years ago. Now Look at what I achieved on Google maps. This is also the first and only local guide on the African continent to achieve 500k points on Google maps. Although these points might be minute when @SarathUpendran or @JustJake steps in or even someone like @PrasadVR@MarcoDavoli and @Kumaarsantosh comes on stage. These are all Roaders like myself with huge points on Google maps. Congratulations @UdokaObis for achieving Level 8. We wish you more wins and speedy achievement of the next level 9.
We appreciate every vibrant and hard-working local guide from other continents and from our own African continent too. Mind you, I am not looking down on any local guide at all. Every local guide is very important. Every point earned honestly and diligently as a local guide on Google maps is very important. They all make up for the accurate or near accurate Google maps that we have today. I hope this post can challenge others positively and motivate everyone to keep contributing constantly every day or whenever possible.
The question is where is the bulk of my points coming from as a local guide?
From the analysis of my Google maps profile, the bulk of my points come from adding roads on Google maps. Although the highest figure on my profile is Answers, 36,940 nevertheless it’s all one point each. My 24,687 Roads = 370,605K points.
