A Journey to Highest peak point in South India

Hi,

Ever Planned to Visit India, or visit the Southern Unexplored Areas in India, Then this post will help you. This is the Second Highest peak point in Kerala, Known as Meesapulimala ( I know it’s hard to pronounce ) which means Moustache Tiger Hill. This one located at the middle of Kerala Tamilnadu Border.

Distance : 5 Hrs From Kochi International Airport.

Peak Point : 8000+ ft from Sea level

Trekking Distance : 5km

Temperature : (Winter : 0 Degree to 15 Degree), Summer (10 Degree to 26 Degree).

The 2 Days of your life will be completely inside the forest (Silent Valley), You will be completely off from the Outside world, which really gives you some energy to enjoy the nature more, no more distractions. We Need to take Kerala Government special Permission to Enter here, They will provide you food and Transportation. From Early Morning the Trekking will start, i would say the difficulty level is bit high 4/5. From the Base camp it’s 7.5Km to top of this Hill.

By 10:30 AM we reached the peak of the Hill, i can’t describe that experience through words, it was magical.
