A Journey Through India in Robbinsville, NJ

Have you ever felt like you’ve been transported to a different world? That’s exactly how I felt after visiting the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Robbinsville,NJ. :india: Opened in 2023, this stunning temple is the largest Hindu temple outside of India and the second-largest in the world. Spread across 183 acres, it’s a true marvel of architecture. Who would thought to find this gem in central Jersey? :cowboy_hat_face:

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is more than just a beautiful building. It’s a tribute to the life and teachings of Nilkanth Varni, a young boy who became known as Bhagwan Swaminarayan.

At just 7 years old,Nilkanth Varni embarked on an incredible journey across India :india: ,spreading messages of peace, love, and harmony. His teachings continue to inspire people around the world today.

The intricate details and peaceful atmosphere are simply breathtaking.Even with my little ones :family_man_woman_girl_girl: ,who are more used to amusement parks :roller_coaster: ,the temple’s cultural significance and unique beauty captured their attention. :sunglasses: My wife and I were a little bit worried about that however they were the ones who enjoyed the most!

Yes, I was really impressed, and one interesting thing is that the tourists follow a well-organized circuit, which ends with the cafeteria (typical Indian food) and the souvenir shop. You can see good planning!
