Mount View Heritage Hotel is located in Panchgani, Maharashtra, India. The resort is set amidst the beautiful Sahyadri mountain range and offers scenic views of the valley ( at a height of 4200 feet).
The well-known twin vacation destinations of Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar in the Satara district are situated on the Sahyadri hills of Maharashtra, two hours’ drive (100km/63 miles) from Pune.

This resort was developed from twin bungalows that were almost a century old. It offers a variety of room types while preserving the original architecture and atmosphere of the classic colonial style. The Parsi family that runs and maintains it adds a wonderful personal touch. There is plenty of parking available all around the resort.

With a veranda in front of each room and a four-chaired wooden classic table, it provides a nice seating area for the customers. There are a couple of swinging chairs for relaxing and reading (there is a small bookshelf for the customers too). The pets are also allowed, and they can provide their food on request.

Although it is close to the main road, there is little to no traffic noise because the property is only a short distance down the hill. You will arrive there via a short driveway from the main gate and will immediately feel the wonderful presence of nature.

In front of the resort, there is a swing and seating setup where guests can enjoy the stunning valley view of the Krishna River.
Kids and families can get some great exercise by hiking down to their store and workers’ cottages on a short trail.

They have an indoor gaming room with a carrom board, table tennis, and a football table game.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (veg and/or non veg) are available upon request or with advance notice while making a reservation. The booking can be made through their website, as well as a number of other apps and websites. The room charges are a bit higher than moderate, say around Rs 4000 to Rs 6000 (apprx. $55 to $74), and they change on weekends and during the peak season (normally March to June, but people like me who are living a short drive away do visit frequently 
).
Additionally, it is very close to the main Panchgani chowk, which means that the market, restaurants, bus stop, and taxi stands are all within walking distance.
Overall, Mount View Heritage Hotel is a fantastic choice for those seeking a peaceful vacation in the lovely hill town of Panchgani.
