Hello LGs,
After a long break, here I am…
I wanted to express my gratitude to my incredible Local Guides Community of India on this auspicious occasion of Thanksgiving Day (since it has evolved into a secular celebration
).
The past few weeks, navigating my medical emergency and recovery, have been the most challenging time of my life, but your support has been an unwavering source of strength.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for:
- Staying with me: Knowing I had your support, well wishes, and prayers made the journey feel less lonely.
- Connecting with my family: Your kind calls and messages to them, checking in on my status and offering reassurance, meant the world and allowed me to focus purely on recovery. @abhishekpatk, @SonamW, and @ShubhamWaman, just to name a few.
- Praying for my recovery: I truly believe the collective positive energy and prayers helped speed up my healing.
- Respecting my recovery: A special thank you for understanding the need for rest and not disturbing me with calls immediately after the operation. Your thoughtful consideration was the best gift during that critical time.
A huge thank you to @SharmaK for the absolutely lovely flower bouquet—it brought so much cheer and color to my recovery room! Your thoughtfulness truly brightened my day.
My Maharashtra Local Guides team, who were regularly in touch with my family and were collecting updates. @Shrut19, who was so excited when she learned about my discharge from the hospital, called me immediately. I requested all to wait for a bit more time for me to be ready to talk at length.
Everyone co-operated and stood by me. I love you guys! You’re special.
Now I am accessible by messages or private call on request. Those who haven’t contacted me considering my inability to respond, please feel free to message; I will try to reply ASAP.
I missed out on the Community Spotlight series, but thanks to @TravellerG, sir, and others for mentioning me; I feel part of it.
Your empathy, respect, and friendship exemplify the spirit of this community. I am extremely proud to be a part of it. I’m excited to get back to mapping, sharing, and connecting with everyone soon!

Cheers!
