V. Sankar Aiyar built the Ganesh Mandir in 1952 in Connaught Place. The two temples Shiv Evam Shani Mandir along with Shri Ganesh Mandir share same wall and are interconnected.
The temple complex also has a Navagraha shrine for the 9 planetary gods.
There are several smaller shrines as well in the complex dedicated to- Sita Ram, Radha Krishna and Parvati Shiv
