A Day in Chandni Chowk – History, Food, and Hidden Gems

I visited Delhi for the third time, but this trip felt different and special. It was the first time I met everyone in person. We met at Red Fort Metro Station, Gate No. 1. Sir greeted us with a big smile, which made us feel very welcome.

We started our day with chole bhature—a tasty and famous dish from Delhi. The crispy bhature and spicy chole were so delicious and gave us the perfect energy boost for the day ahead.

After breakfast, we walked through the old and busy lanes of Chandni Chowk. This market is one of the oldest in Delhi, built in the 1600s by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and designed by his daughter, Jahanara Begum. As we explored, Sir shared many interesting stories and facts about the place. I saw things I had never noticed before, even though I had been to Delhi before.

Later, we met one of Sir’s close friends. He showed us some hidden gems of Chandni Chowk—quiet spots, old shops, and places full of history that most people don’t know about.

By the end of the day, I didn’t just visit a market—I felt like I had taken a journey through Delhi’s rich past and colorful present. It was a day full of learning, fun, and unforgettable memories.
All possible because of @K.K.Sharma sir :folded_hands:t2: Thank you so much.

Vielen Dank, Annaelisa!
