Before every trip, I do research on interesting places in the countries I visit. I visited this remarkable building in Bulgaria because it attracted my attention and took some photos to share with you.
This magnificent castle almost makes you find yourself in the mystery of the Middle Ages. When I entered the castle, which resembled a Game of Thrones scene, I was greeted by employees dressed as Bulgarian knights. Afterwards, you can enjoy the magnificent castle by purchasing your ticket from the box office. I would like to point out that the castle is not a historical building. It was built by architect Georgi Tumpalov. He describes this castle as his childhood dream. The construction of the castle started in 1996. Even though it is a recent building, it reflects the Middle Ages quite successfully. As additional information, the castle was chosen as one of the 10 most interesting castles in the world by the British The Guardian.
There is a garden on the left side of the entrance of the castle, where you can observe different plants and see the statue of Jesus.
When you walk towards the artificial lake located in the middle of the area, you can see the Bulgarian flag and the knight figures in front of it.
When you turn left from here, the front part of the castle welcomes you.
There are many magnificent views inside the castle, the most striking ones are the fountains.
When you cross the lake, there is a photographer who helps you take photos wearing medieval clothes. Here again, a beautifully designed fountain welcomes us.There are many statues behind the fountain.
