A 360 photo walking tour of Beirut, Lebanon

Once you are in Beirut you can reserve a half day to explore the area near Zaitouna bay and the Corniche walk along the sea. Jump in and see the sights in 360 in the embedded images below.

Start in town and visit the Mohamad Al-Amin Mosque located next to the Roman bath ruins of Berytus rebuilt in 551 AD. From there head to the Corniche to take a walk starting in Zeituna bay.

The bay offers beautiful views of fancy yachts and modern shiny buildings.

From the bay head out on the Corniche a wide promenade where the residents of Beirut go to jog, walk, eat street food and just hang out. Head down to the lighthouse area where there are coffee shops and wonderful views of the sea.

Keep strolling on the Corniche walkway to encounter the famous Raouche Rocks also known as Pigeon Rocks. It is said that people used to climb up the rock and dive into the water from the very top. This is no longer allowed for safety reasons.

By the time you get to Raouche rocks you should be hungry. Head back to Zaitouna bay where there are some nice restaurants to sample. The bay is magical at night and makes for a romantic evening out with a special friend.

Hi @AlexaAC Thanks for checking it out. I did not have any of the yummy looking street food as I had just eaten at the Babel restaurant near Zaitouna bay where I had these delicious grilled shrimp. ?
