Sri Lakshmi Venkataramana Temple, located in Maranakatte near the famous Sri Brahmalingeshwara Temple, is a small and quiet place of worship. The temple surroundings are peaceful, and since it is less crowded, it offers a calm atmosphere for visitors.
However, during my visit around 2 PM, the temple was completely empty and there was no one present. The temple remains mostly open, and only the garbhagudi (sanctum) has a door. Unfortunately, the maintenance of the temple is not up to the mark, and it clearly needs better care and attention.
This temple has potential to be a serene spiritual spot if proper maintenance is done. If you are visiting Maranakatte, you can stop by this temple as it is located close to Sri Brahmalingeshwara Temple.
