If you were to ask me, and I feel like you should, there’s never a bad time to have cake. (And if you were to ask me what the best kind is, I’d tell you it’s unequivocally ice cream cake—even though I’m sure a lot of people would tell me that doesn’t count.)
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with baking different types of cakes which reminded me of a post I shared on Connect last year about traditional cakes you can find around the world. It inspired me to start explore cake photos on Google Maps taken at places all over the globe. Today, I want to share some of my favorites with you!

Ohh @AriMar so pleasingly perfect! Here’s what I’m up to this afternoon, torta milhojas, made of chocolate, puff pastry and dulce de leche… Not that I think it stands a chance against those beauties but the taste just as good
