6 places in Istanbul you shouldn't miss

I am happy to see that you have been to Istanbul as well, @PoliMC ! The photos you captured are so beautiful!

I also wanted to visit the Dolmabahçe Palace. However, I was unfortunate to be in Istanbul on the day this palace is closed. I really wish I could be able to visit it one day.

Hello @TsekoV and @DeniGu ,

Thank you for sharing these amazing locations and beautiful photos with us. I have been to Istanbul several times, but never got the chance to visit the Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern. If you had to choose each only one spot, which one would it be?

Just like @PoliMC , I love very much the Dolmabahce Palace, such a wonderful piece of architecture where the East meets the West!

I’m sharing with you a photo of the square in from of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.

I loved seeing this photo, @BorrisS ! All these birds add up to the scenery.

The place that I like the most in Istanbul is the Topkapi Palace. There I love both the gardens and the different collections that you can see there. Here is another photo from there.

It would be great if you could visit there one day!

How many times have you been to Turkey? Which place do you like the most there?

Hello @TsekoV ,

I’m glad that you liked the photo!

I have been to Turkey several times, mostly in Istanbul and Edirne.

If I have to choose one single place as a favorite one it will be the Dolmabahce Palace.

Hi @KarolT ,

Thank you for sharing your post about Istanbul! The photos are so beautiful and really reflect the colorful diversity of this amazing city. It was very interesting to read about your experience, too.

Was there a place in Istanbul that you liked the most?

@BorrisS I’d say that my favorite spot was the Galata Tower, because I liked the stone structure and the view from the top. :slightly_smiling_face:

@TsekoV @DeniGu — going to Istanbul is on my bucket list to visit the Blue Mosque and to visit the markets.

Did you know @MahabubMunna visited the Blue Mosque after Connect Live 2018? For him it was a once in lifetime chance since he had to change planes before flying back to Dhaka.

Deni, did you know Connect Live 2019 attendee @myparmaksiz lives in Istanbul? Yalcin, what do you think of Tseko & Deni’s “6 Must See Places in Istanbul”? Are there other places you highly recommend?

Cheers,

Karen

Hey @Nyainurjanah ,

Thank you for asking. The mosque is actually open to people who want to pray there. There is specifically dedicated time frame during the date. For more information, you can refer to the praying time of the mosque.
