Hello again @Baldev_Singh

From the screenshots you shared it looks like you have misread the photo guidelines. You have uploaded photos showing a person at the center of each photo. As Google Maps is a platform focused on helping the Maps users finding and understanding places we should not upload photos showing people. They are unwanted distractions or they can block Maps users from seeing details that are important to them.

I have shared some tips on frequent photo rule violations here.

I suggest you remove all photos with distracting people and recognizable faces to protect your account.

Best of luck

Morten

PS Don’t be discouraged. You are not the first having this problem. But when you follow the guidelines 95+ percent of your photos will go public.

None of those photos are eligible for Maps @Baldev_Singh which is why they are not public. Selfies do not belong on Maps. Maps is about finding the things worth doing and the places worth visiting. Drop your selfies onto your favourite social network and contribute images without people for Maps.

Hi @Baldev_Singh

I’ve now had a quick look at your photo contributions and must add to the information that @MortenCopenhagen mentioned. Please take note that Google Maps is not a personal photos album! Photos on Google Maps must comply with the Local Guides program rules, Local Guides community policy, and Maps user contributed content policy:

  • Photos should have been taken by yourself and not copied or stolen
  • Photos must be relevant to the location you’re contributing to
  • Do not load duplicate photos
  • Avoid sharing selfies and group photos
  • Avoid sharing low quality photos

If your photos have been made private or removed, they may have violated the policies. For more details see this article: What photos should I share on Google Maps?

I hope this helps you.

Namaste

@AdamGT @PaulPavlinovich @MortenCopenhagen

As person showing in each photo, it is a self declaration that photos are not stolen/copied, not downloaded from the web.

Photos are taken from many locations after hardwork. I’m not sharing any bedroom/kitchen/family function/other personal photos.

It is also confirm that photos are related to the location only and photos are not personal.

If you all are not satisfied with above declaration, i can remove each photo.

If you read the guidelines we provided links to you would know that the right thing is to delete all such photos.

Your idea to demonstrate you have been to the places is a good idea, but it is wrong according to the guidelines and not really helpful to Maps users.

All the best and thanks for asking

Morten

@MortenCopenhagen @AdamGT @PaulPavlinovich

Photos are taken after verification of the location.

Hi @Baldev_Singh avoid having people in your photos for Maps.
