My dear LG friends and Google Maps users,
Usually, I don’t publish my achievements because it feels self-boosting to me, but here is a number that can inspire many LGs.
Sometimes, a number is much more than a number.
Recently, I received a wonderful email from Google that made me pause for a moment:
Google further shared:
“People are seeing the places that you’ve added on Google Maps.”
And then came the words:
“Congrats! Your contributions have just reached a new milestone.”
I must admit, seeing 55,000,000 views was both exciting and deeply humbling.
But rather than looking at this number as an achievement of one person, I see it as a reflection of something much larger—the wonderful ecosystem of Google Maps and its users.
Every view represents a person.
Behind every one of those 55 million views, there could have been someone searching for a restaurant… Someone looking for a place to visit… Someone trying to discover a local business… Someone planning a journey… Or simply someone curious about a place they had never seen before.
That thought makes this milestone especially meaningful to me.
I have always believed that contributing to Google Maps is not merely about adding places.
It is about helping people discover places.
And when those contributions become useful to someone—even if we never know who that person was—it gives a special meaning to the time and effort we spend.

My sincere gratitude to Google and the Google Maps team for creating a platform where ordinary people like us can contribute meaningful information and, in our own small ways, help millions of others.
Google taking the time to recognise these contributions makes the journey even more encouraging.

So, these 55 million views belong not just to me.
In a very real sense, they belong to a community of contributors and users connected through Google Maps.
And today, with a heart full of gratitude, I simply want to say:
