Early this morning, I received a notification on my phone from Google Maps - my old video had just reached its 51st reaction!
The first thought that crossed my mind was, “Wonderful I’ve hit a half-century of reactions” For a Local Guide, this is a significant compliment and a major milestone, it clearly shows that the video is still appreciated by users and continues to be genuinely helpful to them.
This notification took me back two years to a special memory. It was around the time of the ‘Local Guides Connect’ anniversary. I wanted to mark the occasion by visiting somewhere truly ‘out-of-the-box’ - a place that was unique and perhaps a bit lesser-known to the rest of the world.
In my search, SULABH INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM OF TOILETS, located in Delhi. As far as I know, there are only one or two such museums in the entire world, and one of them happens to be right here in India.
The fact that this video - filmed two years ago at such a unique location - is still receiving love from people proves that when we share something distinct and rare on Google Maps, it remains valuable to others.
