Hello guys. Have recently noticed something strange in Google Maps. Now all the 360 photos seem to be disappeared from Google Maps pages. In almost all the places I have taken 360 photo I am noticing neither the thumbnail, nor the “360 pictures” photo category are appearing any longer in Google maps. Most even strange thing is that in very few places I still see them. It seems this issue is not affecting business places who have paid for 360 service: commercial virtual tours appear as always. The issue is affecting everyone and not only me, I am noticing 99% of the places which do not have commercial 360 virtual tour are not showing anymore 360 pictures in Google Maps. Using the Street View app is the only way fo actually access them.
I report it in case this is a bug. It happens everywhere: app for iOS, Android phone, PC and mobile phone. Thanks.
basically 90% of the places in Milan where I have shot 360 photos now show nothing. Very few places where I have taken the photos, actually show them (also all places having commercial 360 photos paid by agencies seems to have all the photos). In addition, also the 360 category you mention is not appearing. Basically they show only in Street agire app. The same also with 360 pictures taken by other users in other places. Maybe it’s an issue affecting only Milan area? That’s little strange, don’t know what’s happening…
