3 Million+ Views on My Google Map Photos

Hello Local Guides, I hope you all are safe and healthy at your home. Today it is pleasure to share with you my new achievement on Google Map. Yesterday, I got a message “Hi Paramjeet Singh Jamwal You’re a top photographer on Google Maps!” from google on my mobile. I received this message after getting 3 million+ views on my Google Map photos. The screen shot of that message is given below.

There is a photo of Nou Gaja Peer mosque on google map which obtain 1 million+ views and play a major role for this contribution. This photo is also included inLeaderboards of the Most Viewed Photos created by @AdamGT . You can find my ranking with this photo in #1.7 Leaderboard of Level 7 LG “Star photos” Sorted by Star Views. AdamGT is putting great efforts to bring popular photos and its Local Guides to single post.

Yes @Sophia_Cambodia this views also surprised me. Because we don’t know which photo will get popularity on Google Map. That’s great you obtained half million views on your photos.

@PSJamwal well, you can view at Photo and sort by view, not by date and you will see which one is the top view.

Mine, I was on the map for about a year so I got less views.

I know @Sophia_Cambodia that we can check top photos by clicking on sort by views. Are you talking about your photos?

So indeed a big congratulations to you @PSJamwal and a very worthy accolade.

We don’t get points for views, well not at the moment  anyway, but it surely does give us an indication of the performance and quality of our photos @PSJamwal and as I have repeatedly said, as keen photographers, we are proud when we see that our photos about a place, a meal or whatever, are being viewed and helpful to someone. Every view counts even in the smallest way.

I’m currently level 7 with 3.6 million views. I’d say our services should be acknowledged and appreciated in a different way other than levels and views.

These reviews help lots of people and were basically working for Google for free. I’m not sure that’s very fair … maybe i should rethink reviewing i guess
