Every free nation in the world has its own flag. It is a symbol of a free country. The present form of Indian National Flag ?? was adopted on 22nd July, 1947.
In India, the term “tricolor” refers to the Indian national flag. This form has come through many changes.
Colours of the Flag-
In the national flag of India the top band is of Saffron colour, indicating the strength and courage of the country. The white middle band indicates peace and truth with Dharma Chakra. The last band is green in colour shows the fertility, growth and auspiciousness of the land.
There are some rules and regulations upon how to fly the flag, based on the 26 January 2002 legislation.
The tricolour flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya and represents the diversity of India in pursuit of truth, justice and equality.
The colour saffron represents courage and sacrifice. The colour white denotes peace and truth and green symbolizes faith and chivalry. The Asoka chakra represents the progressiveness of our country,The 24 spokes of the Ashok Chakra inspires every Indian to work tirelessly for 24 hours.
