It is amazing when you make a promise and its fulfilled. You set a target and its achieved. The TRAC team has made Google maps 100,000 times better than it was some months ago. Don’t be surprised if your Google maps navigates you through one of those local roads added during TRAC event. Anyways,with permission from our top men on adding roads on Google maps @ErmesT and @Lukas_1 With due respect from @JustJake and @Designer_Biswajit we will not forget to pay homage to @PrasadVR for their hardwork and dedication to adding roads on TRAC finally taking into account the data and figures presented meticulously by @MarcoDavoli our statistician.we hereby announce the achievement of our 100k approved road target on Google maps through TRAC event. It is well necessary to let us know that the target that was stipulated for six months was reached in less than 3 months, We added and got approval of 100,000 roads on Google maps in exactly 78 days. Special thanks all the dedicated and loyal TRAC team mates. Incase I have never mentioned it before on connect I’ll say it here. These participants of TRAC are the best local guides around.
Please Note: This is not a competition it’s a simple campaign. It is aimed at creating awareness on drawing roads.It’s also aimed at improving the maps network worldwide. There are no gift or medals at the end of the campaign.it’s a voluntary activity like all local guides activities.

It’s hard to believe the difference a year makes, @SholaIB , thank you for making this your mission. Last year we were blown away by single participants hitting 1,000 roads & now this was being accomplished weekly by @MarcoDavoli , @ErmesT , and @Lukas_1 . We’ve learned a lot, and truly have made a massive contribution to the betterment of Maps.
You know caption @SholaIB & dear friend @JustJake why I like Roaders on map & Google Earth because in My schooling acedmy days one of my favourite subject is geography (other subjects also) as i remember in my high to higher secondary level exam i creak 48-49/50, & one of my physics & scouts teacher (Army retired black belt) once told me one day we will see the Star galaxy & earth & NASA is on work.
& Today i draw the road edit on map ( it doesn’t matter my Road edit numbers are little to other teammate) whenever I draw to road on Map always try to learn & keep in my mind my wonderful teacher’s thoughts & my parents blessings.
Thank you @JustJake and a big thanks for getting me involved with tracking roads, I am enjoying it. I think I may have played, along with you, a small part in encouraging @Rednewt74 and @tony_b to join the TRAC. roads Team.

Well done team TRAC. Ths seems to be unbelievable but the fact is it’s TRUE.

I know it’s been confirmed here that we surpassed 100,000 roads, but is it too much to ask that the spreadsheet created by @Rednewt74 be updated by any LGs who hadn’t yet entered their numbers? I enjoyed following the progress on there, and it is still only showing 96,001.
