Hello Local Guides, on 28th November, 2020 Bangladesh Local Guides organized the 148th meet up at Remi Holdings Limited Company in Adamjee EPZ area of Narayanganj. Total 10 local guides participated in this meet up. “Renewable Energy Source Green Factory Visit.” titles of this meet up.
Meet up day we all arrived at Adamjee EPZ Gate at 10:30 a.m. & entered Remi Holdings Limited. There is no visitor card by entering the name. We all washed our hands and enter the factory. Local Guide @SirajulAzad receiving us. All local guides are introduced to the factory’s GM, administration officers. Main Engineer of the factory, arranged to show all the energy saving process.
What is Renewable Energy Source: Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable resources, which are naturally replenished on a human timescale, including carbon neutral sources like sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. The term often also encompasses biomass as well, whose carbon neutral status is under debate. Renewable energy often provides energy in four important areas: electricity generation, air and water heating/cooling, transportation, and rural (off-grid) energy services.
At the national level, at least 30 nations around the world already have renewable energy contributing more than 20 percent of energy supply. National renewable energy markets are projected to continue to grow strongly in the coming decade and beyond. Some places and at least two countries, Iceland and Norway, generate all their electricity using renewable energy already, and many other countries have the set a goal to reach 100% renewable energy in the future. At least 47 nations around the world already have over 50 percent of electricity from renewable resources. Renewable energy resources exist over wide geographical areas, in contrast to fossil fuels, which are concentrated in a limited number of countries. Rapid deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies is resulting in significant energy security, climate change mitigation, and economic benefits. In international public opinion surveys there is strong support for promoting renewable sources such as solar power and wind power.
While many renewable energy projects are large-scale, renewable technologies are also suited to rural and remote areas and developing countries, where energy is often crucial in human development. As most of renewable energy technologies provide electricity, renewable energy deployment is often applied in conjunction with further electrification, which has several benefits: electricity can be converted to heat, can be converted into mechanical energy with high efficiency, and is clean at the point of consumption. Through meet up we get the right concept about green factory. Some important Eco friendly things we found out of visit green factory.
1. Building Utility Management: Here in two monitoring screens, we can see whole utility (like water) management process. Hourly they can seen how much water used & take necessary steps for proper using of water.
2. Steel Structure Building: Steel Structures Building makes this factory more thin & less weight.
3. Skylight: Provides adequate lighting in the workplace by protecting it from harmful ultraviolet from sunlight.
4. Rooftop Gardening: To make Eco system friendly factory, this factory made a big rooftop garden. To get carbon observed & produced more oxygen. Rooftop gardening are playing important role.
5. Solar Panel: Solar panel situated at factory top roof area. 125 KW Electricity produced every day. Solar panel produced 125 KW Solar Energy every day.
6. Energy Saving Light & Fan: Factory everywhere used energy saving light & helicopter fan used in main production area.
7. Energy Saving Servo Motor Controller: In production area clothing swing machine running by energy saving servo motor controller. This Servo Motor Controller reduces extra energy & saving energy.
8. Washing Plant: Big washing plant for wash clothing. Thermal Energy Source used in washing boilers running.
9. Jute Boiler: Wasted jute are used in this Jute Boiler. Create thermal energy & passed to electricity unities.
10. Thermo Oil Boiler: Thermo oil boiler are also create energy. Used in electricity units.
11. Server Station: Very important role of this Server Station Room. Whole factory electricity, water & others unities power manage from here.
12. Water Treatment, Recycles & Quality Checking Process: In this department rain water & factory wasted water are treatment & recycling water. This rain water & waste water managed by this department. Extra purified rain water is stored in underground water tanks. This factory established its own lab to check water quality.
13. Safety & Security: Green factory Remi Holdings Limited maintain high class safety & security. All employees & staffs must hand sanitized before entering the factory. Fire Safety Equipment, Emergence Gong Bell, Alarm system, CC Camera are available.
Remi Holdings Limited Achieved LLED became the world 2nd green factory in the world with 97 points out of 100 set by the authorities.
Remi Holdings Limited Administration team arranged lunch for all local guides. Every dish were tasty & delicious.
