Bangladesh Local Guides started their journey from 2014; they got the official recognition on the 7th March, 2015 and that was their one year anniversary too! It’s been five years already. Following these years Bangladesh Local Guides arranged many Meetups from Food Crawl, Map Editing, Volunteer Day to Photo Walk and many more. Finishing the 99th Meetup we recently arranged our 100th Meetup, successfully!
In the bay area city, Chattagram, in a renowned restaurant this event was organized; in total 139 people attended here. This event had several interesting sessions trough out the day. Most probably, this is the longest meet up in the Local Guides history. To be noted, we didn’t have any sponsor for the event; we all came together and managed to arrange this grand event.

More than 130 Local Guides form all over Bangladesh wanted to join this event. However, we selected only the best of the best. All the Local Guides contributed $25; which were used to collect foods, transportation and souvenirs. This number of collection money were able to be used for 40% of the total spent amount. Addition to this, Faisal Hasnat (@FaisalHasnat) helped us with the transportation and Jahed Hossain helped us via providing Digital Display.

Ice Breaking Game Session: The whole day meetup had 4 ice breaking session to always keep the attendees in a powered up mood!

Photowalk in Agrabad Commercial Area: After the lunch we all went for a photo walk in the Agrabad Commercial Area. We walked for couple of kilometers and came back to the restaurant.

Meet with 2 Wheeler Local Guides : This local guide has been visiting for last 5-6 years, different places of Bangladesh and he uses Bicycle only! He even attended the South Asia Meetup 17 via going with Bicycle. He added a lot of places of Bangladesh and all the other local guides got to know him personally.

Review Writing ,Google Photos & Video: In this session the senior local guides shared their experience about taking great photos, reviews, google photos and videos.
Basic Of Street View: Using of 5 types 360 camera has been shared in this session.

Prize Giving and Closing Ceremony, Cultural Program: In total 10 local guides got prizes in different categories and we finished via some cultural events.
Dinner: We finished the whole day event via having the dinner together.
