Then I saw that adding a road through Road Mapper was not impactful, so I changed my direction and started adding the road directly through Google Maps. I said no, it is like planting a tree on earth, if you are eating a ripe fruit, have you ever thought about who planted it? Obviously, no, you are just eating because some had been planted in the past, the same way road editing works, you may not travel on the road you have added or edited, but currently you are walking or travelling on the road which was added or edited by someone in the past. When i started my journey i was at middle at the sea, I cant find road to add on google map i was very confused and irritated that all roads are added and edited by AI or some other person, it is like impossible to find single road to add , but i keep patience and go to documentation or post posted by a senior member of the community, I study again and find the clue to how to find unmapped roads on Google Maps, what I found is that surfing or exploring the Google map is the best way to find roads to add on Google Maps. That’s a secret key; no other way you can find an unmapped road on Google Maps. Now challenge began, when I start adding road through my mobile it was very less approval rate and almost 75% got rejected only 25% were approved then I again observe closely & How i will increase my approval rate, then I started adding it through my desktop or laptop where i can see object more clearly and gain ability to max zoom. By implementing these method my approval rate became more high and now I got 50% approval from the system it was like brainstorming idea, in between TRAC campaign started and I joined in it, they explain how to submit your road for getting more approval from system, yes this motivated and boosted many local to add road on google map.
Before adding the road on Google Maps, keep in mind to submit your edit suggestion where the road is actually serving a house or business. Do not mark or draw where the road is not going anywhere or going to a field, forest, or flooded area. you will get the maximum road outside the city, where construction is happening and planning for a new city. Do not draw as incorrectly as possible. You can not mislead the system, your road will be rejected when you draw the road over some houses or objects. Try to connect the dots straight; do not bend the curve. As simpler or straighter you draw your chances are increased to approving your suggested edit.
The most important thing is connecting the road with already approved roads. Without it, you will not get approval. In the beginning the system was not accepting roads encountering trees, but now it is approved by the system. When you submit your suggested road edit, you will get an orange dot line. After approval, it becomes white. After your submission, wait for approval. Do not suggest frequent edits to the road, it will decrease your approval rate. If you don’t know the process of how to add a road, start with adding a small road; do not try to add a larger road. In recent days, what I observe is that when you add roads in your country and locality, your approval will come faster than adding roads to other countries or locations. You will be notified through email when your edit has been approved through the no reply system. Adding roads in remote areas is difficult and more complicated. Trace the path of vehicles that leave the trace of their tyre, which will help you to understand more and give more authenticity to the road. If you are confused about how to draw roads, investigate through different layers like street view, satellite, terrain, or others, and verify at your end to make sure that the road really exists before submitting the road.
