Save your area for offline use by going to Settings > Offline Maps. This helps when you’re in rural areas like Chi Phat without stable internet. -

Tap the layers icon (top right) and select Traffic. It’s helpful for Phnom Penh’s rush hours. -
Save Your Favorite Spots
Mark places like restaurants or landmarks as Saved Locations for quick access later. -
Use Khmer Language
Switch to Khmer labels in Settings for better local navigation if you’re more familiar with the language. -
Explore Public Transport Options
Google Maps shows buses and tuk-tuks in major cities. Search your route and look for Transit options. -
Share Live Location
Use Share Location with friends or family for meetups or while traveling in unfamiliar areas. -
Find Hidden Gems
Use the Explore Nearby feature to discover cafes, attractions, or local markets near you. -
Check Business Hours
Before heading out, check if a shop or restaurant is open. Google Maps often lists operating hours for most places. -
Use Street View
Preview streets, landmarks, or remote locations (if available) to get familiar before visiting. -
Measure Distance
Tap and hold a point, then select Measure Distance to see how far it is to your destination.
