Go to North East India..You will relish  the time spent in monsoon over there. Start with Guwahati.

In the month of India, there are rains allover India. in this spell of time, i think you must visit Rajasthan. the chances of rain are less and you can roam around in a better way. Jaisalmer can be a gud options.
