Traditional Costume Parade in Bavaria

During the weekend we visited a costume parade in Bavaria. (5 km away from my home) In fact already some time ago I thought to share with you such a happening.

Nearly all over Germany you find this kind of parades with a very long and interesting tradition. In fact it is an quite conservative and old style event with a lot of music and 🍻 beers.

Out of around 80 Million citizens in Germany belong around 2 Million to a Society for Traditional Costumes. In some villages it is really the best you can do, to be involved in the local community. As you can see, it is not all about Costumes, but as well about traditional music instruments 🎺 🥁.

Also, when personally I could not imagine to join such a society, I do like that this exist. If you like to see some more pictures follow the link:

I though more about traditional costume parades, not the one from the military.
