#El-Jem amphitheatre was constructed by Emperor Cordian at some point between 230 and 238 AD.In it's prime some belive that could help ip 60.000 peoples.. #El-Jem might be one of the smaller towns on #Tunisia with the remin of a Roman amphitheatre..

This isn't any old amphitheatre ,it's a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best preserved in the world with movies such as #Gladiator. . while there is also a small museum most people take El-Jem for a day trip..

Don't miss this place if you are visiting #Tunisia,Make it in your travel list 🙂
