Sarang is here. Today I am going to introduce you to my local hill station Padmalaya.
Padmalaya is an ancient temple of lord Ganesha situated on a hill and surrounded by jungle .
It says that on the time of mahabharata when the Pandawas were sent to suffer for 14 years. They once had visited this place and also killed a monster called "Bakasur".
At that time of fighting Bhima smashes the ground and a huge pit was created just like the huge elbow. This place is now known as "BhimKunda"
Bhimkunda is the main tourist attraction as it is situated in middle of the jungle . you can also have an experience of tracking & safari at once .
Its a great place to visit in the month July to December.
