Anyone have suggestions how to make a 2 to 3 day trip to Catalina Island in California affordable for a family of 4? Is it worth it if we are spending 10 days in Southern California already? I was thinking it would be a new adventure for my son' to go out to the island. I also wonder if snorkeling is decent in this tourist spot. Oh btw we are going in mid June if that makes a difference regarding the responses.
