We had a massive turnout : 21 folks turned up for this trail and almost half of them were first timers. We started at the Nagdevi Baarah Handi. There was already a queue of 7 locals standing in line for the fare. We had the pichota(tail), nihari, paaya(trotters) , sukka with roti. As we snaked our way through to Nagdevi Street toward Minara Masjid, one thing that is noticeable that other than the Badri Sweets corner, this place, a few years back, used to have quite a few paya pots ; alas no more.
And then we found ourselves at Minara Masjid where I**####**a led the newbies to the wondrous delights that the place has to offer: Beef bhuna, Mutton naida roll, even Kapoora(bull testes) and Mawa Jalebi. At Chinese N Grill Restaurant we tucked with gusto into our perennial favorites : Bheja Nihari and Mutton Chaap. Also had their Bheja masala. After this quite a few, had their fill and went off to Bohri Mohalla to relish their usual offerings that has been covered in previous trails. A few hardy ones made it to Valibhai Payawala Barah Handi and the owner was ecstatic to receive us. We were lucky to have their last portion of Topa (rump) & pichota (tail) with a side dish of Nalli(bone marrow) . The place has gone upscale with air-conditioning and white tables...and so too the prices :-). But the fare was much better than the Nagdevi Baraah Handi. We paced ourselves to Imam to soothe from the humid evening. After packing a few Khamiri, we called it a night.

@AugustineC seems you had a nice time with your fellow local guides. Thanks for the RECAP.
I would suggest you to post all the RECAP / Meet-up related posts under the Let's Meet-Up board 🙂
