Photos not available with locations on Google Map App

The app asks to upload pictures as soon as they are taken but if I wait, such as, go home and upload them using faster uploading speed using my WiFi, the app does not give me an option to upload those pictures unless I google the place I visited and upload them manually.

@TedPP If I remember correctly, you should get a notification to upload the photos right? As long as you don't click/ swipe away the notification, you should be able to wait until you get WiFi to upload the photos.

But yes, I believe that's the intended behavior, since you can always go to the location later to upload the photos. One thing I usually do to make sure I remember is to save the location or put a star (favorite) on the place so it's easier for me to find later.
