On a recent trip to Slovenia, after an overnight snowfall, the footpath to a waterfall was obscured. Using Google Maps we successfully navigated the route through the snow in the forest and arrived at the spectacular Sum waterfall in the Triglav national park. It was amazing how accurately the trail had been mapped. Well done Google and local guides. Thank you!

@Vinvan: Thanks for sharing your experiences! I have to agree, a few times I have gone hiking and relied on Google Maps to find my way too!
And wow! the waterfall looks amazing! Slovenia has such gorgeous scenery!
