Going to the Skyline Plaza Mall in Frankfurt (with kids)

Another day has passed and I want you share some moments in almost real-time...

Father´s Day in the park of Bad Nauheim, this time we head to the biggest city in our area Frankfurt, which is about 25 minutes drive away.

I had this day off, the kids did not have to go to school, so my husband, my oldest son Marvin (14, but already one head taller than me), his sister Rania (5) and our little chick Maurice (3) were onboard. Driver, bodyguard and nanny was my husband 😉

I love cooking, but today I was just too tired and felt like going to eat elsewhere. So we decided to pay the Skyline Plaza Mall, in the middle of Frankfurt close to the banking sector a visit. They have a huge food court and you can really get almost any type of food from all kitchens of the world right in one spot. The mall is quite new, very fancy, absolutely clean, safe and you find many types of stores for almost anything. They also have a McDonalds (which we did not go to today!!!), a small KFC, Chipotle and a Starbucks - I think you get an idea on what to expect. There is a very stylish penthouse cafe with skyscrapers view, a steak house and even a discotheque on the top of the three levels, but we did not go there. This mall is not huge, but it is first class. Unfortunately they do not have much to occupy children while shopping such as free playgrounds or special attractions. But still going there with small children is doable. So taking that in account I would rate it a 4 out 5 stars.

The mall is located face to face to some of the highest scyscrapers in Frankfurt and around there are building more of them. So this is a very young and active area. If you come to Frankfurt and have some hours in the city to spend, this might be a place to stay for that duration. The visitors are quite international, all kinds of languages are spoken here, and this spot could as well be in Hong Kong or any cosmopolitan city of the world..

I wrote my review before, but I did not have photos at that time. So to finish my review I went there again and collected some visual impression because "A picture is worth a thousand words" or five points.

In the next days I will upload them and maybe check the text again for spell errors or add some valuable information.

I always try to read through the eyes of a traveler - which could be me - who may want or has to stay in that place and would like to know, what to expect from it. It may be a one-time-in-his-life-trip and he therefore wants to known if that could be an area he would like to visit or not. And let´s be honest: Some people simply don´t like to read so much text - just like me. If I can see the food on a photo the information is much faster transmitted, than to have to read through several review. If there is a free mobile phone charging spot, that may be helpful for traveler, also if there is a strong free WiFi available, preferably throughout the whole Mall, so I don´t have to sit in Starbucks all day, but can walk around, go to a washing room and still be online and reachable.

Enough said. Now it is Mother´s Day and I am off!
