During April month flowering in canafistula (Amaltas) tree is statrted in NOIDA. After flowering these trees looks very beautiful & attracts many beautiful butterflies, birds & bees etc. Amaltas yellow flowers intensify secnic beauty of the gardens & roads & reduces the pollution from the roads.
In Ayurvedic treatment Amaltas flowers are beneficial in constipication taking in the form of Gulkand (A sweet preserve of flower petals & mixed with sugar). The legume fruit of the plant is also useful in cough.
