Chicago Sweatlodge

I just discovered Chicago Sweatlodge at 3500 N Cicero Ave in Chicago.

This place is amazing! They have two saunas - Dry Russian and wet Turkish bath —after time spent in either sauna, a dip in the icy plunge pool or a cold bucket of water over the head feels amazing. The Russian sauna bathes the body in dry heat, whereas the more humid Turkish sauna uses wet heat and humid air. Health benefits include riding the body of toxins and other waste, regulating body temperature, helping blood circulation, and improving skin. The Sweatlodge was even recently featured on CNN's "Somebody's Gotta Do It" TV Show

For further relaxation you can continue with a massage, a meal, a soft drink, an Eastern European beer from their extensive beer menu, or a chilled shot of vodka. The Sweat Restaurant, recently featured on Food Networks "Craziest Restaurants In America" is a place to enjoy cuisine from a menu that features Eastern European favorites.
