What to do about businesses that are listed as a home address / home apartment

I read here in the forum that a good guide for GMB related questions is the defunct Google Map Maker. It states; "For businesses, the general rule is Google requires that to be on the map they must have a place of business that is fully staffed during regular business hours for walk in customers to be able to get help (a storefront).  The idea behind this is that if someone sees a business on the map and decides to visit based on that they should be able to easily find the business and should be able to get help."

How do we handle a business that posts open hours on GMB but on their website they state "There is no walk-in service, so please always make an appointment!". Business is run from a home and they service clients both remotely at clients home AND at their business home address.

- Should the business be listed as Private or Does not Exist?

- Should it be a service area instead of a storefront?

- Hours?
