Moderators denying valid edits

If there is one thing that is really frustrating, that is Google Map moderators denying valid edits.

I live in the area that I have made the edits for. I know that a business shown in the map is in the wrong place. And yet the edit is denied with a "Has wrong information".

Here is an example - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/RECO+Hoist/@52.2180116,-0.2649539,17z It is in the wrong place (if you look at the company website they even use Google Maps to show the correct place - http://recohoist.co.uk/contact-us/).

And yet when I edit Google Maps to move them to the correct place - edit denied "Has wrong information"

Frustrating when you the previous thousand edits have been accepted, so you have clearly demonstrated that you know what you are doing.

Hey @PatrickM you already made the same discussion in this post below:

Can I suggest to continue the discussion there? 🙂 Next time it might be a good idea not to create duplicate post so it's easier to keep track of the discussion.

No they are two seperate problems -

Problem one, moderators not reviewing the edits.

Problem two, moderators denying valid edits

As they are two different problems so it seems more sensible to keep them as two seperate conversations.

Re: Moderators denying valid edits

That's pretty much splitting hairs. In any case one thing you can try is to get in touch with the Regional Lead / Moderators through the MapMaker forum. I wrote the instruction on how to do it on your other post.
