I think, now that MapMaker is being shut down, you can only submit a report through "Send Feedback" in both app and web versions of Google Maps. But don't hold your breath.
Hopefully some of the functionality in MapMaker will be transferred to Google Maps in the future.
- click on the three horizontal lines in left corner
- choose "send feedback"
- click on "edit map"
- click on the street you want to edit on the map
- click on "next" right corner
- write what is wrong - you can edit name, give feedback (wrong location, wrong "one way" definition, closed or private) - in your case maybe edit name, if the street is on the right place just wrong named. Don´t forget to add a note where please write what exactly is wrong with this part of a map - basicaly the same you wrote into this post.
