It entered a different place that had same name rather than GPS location...

I was at a Trailhead for a hiking park today. It did not show the place, and I touched the GPS, and also typed the name of the park because it showed the wrong trail name. But then it automatically entered the park name that was 1.9 miles away !

I will try again to add the missing place, but I think that it is going to cause confusion to people to show different GPS places for the same park but different entrances.

Hello @LGH,

Trailheads are not mappable features, instead the trails themselves are mapped.  You can read more here.

Similarly, we do not map entrances to places; doing so is considered making duplicates of the place itself.  Navigation to and from a place is accomplished by following lines, not navigating to an entrance only to then have to navigate to the place itself.  The park should just have the one entry on the map.
