Editing multiple names of road

for a road segment there are two names one right and other wrong and both displays in the map . when i tried to edit that with map the only option is to edit the right name . how can i delete the wrong name?

If you're unable to edit the road directly you can report the problem and explain further:

In the desktop version open the map at the desired location
Click the hamburger icon ☰
Click Send feedback
Click Other feedback
Describe your issue or share your ideas
Add a screenshot as directed

@indrajiths Since the map maker was closed in 31 march 2k17. So the new map editing options are mention below.

@Pea I'm not saying that you were wrong but let me share new info with the topic author.

Fix wrong info about a road

1. Open the Google Maps app .
2. Tap Menu Send feedback Edit the map.
3. To report your issue, follow the instructions.
4. Tap Send.
