Local Guides Volunteer Day 2016 Singapore

Hello! Are there any guides from Singapore who would like to organise one for the Singapore community?

Do throw in some suggestions on where/what we can try!

Here's a page I found with quite a few options. I've heard of friends volunteering at Willing Hearts, the soup kitchen. Regrettably I'm travelling on 10/11 December or else I'd join!

@JN10 Oh what a waste; but no worries you've helped us out quite a bit with the list! Yes I think Willing Hearts is a great idea that should be able to accommodate the community!

@VallynP That's great! Is there any activity you have in mind that could be inclusive as well (if possible)?

Edit: It seems Willing Hearts is already fully booked on 10 & 11 Dec, while the other organisations on the list seem to prefer long term volunteers/require training sessions 😞

Does anyone have suggestions on what we could do for any specific organisation that we could try and work out at short notice, or do we want to pick an idea by Google of cleaning up a park/public space or organising a food/clothing drive?
