[RECAP] Nepalese Election 2074(BS) Meet-up

December7, 2017, is a historic day for the  Nepalese people. Because In the first time  in history of Nepal. was  conducted  the parliament and provincial elections after the promulgation of new constitution.

Incidents of blast and attack on election rallies had continued in different districts in this election . In our district Rautahat, assailants detonated explosive   near the programme venue of the left alliance in Chandrapur Municipality-5, injuring nine persons. The blast took place when participants of a ward level gathering of the left alliance were having snacks after the end of the programme.

Security agencies had classified constituencies and polling centres into highly sensitive, sensitive and normal in terms of security threat.

The local government had provide security for voters at polling centres, candidates, transportation of ballot papers and boxes and counting stations.

Election Commission (EC) has given permission to 52 domestic institutions and four international observer groups to monitor the second phase of federal parliament and provincial assembly elections The Nepal Election Observation Committee (NEOC), the
largest election observation body in the country, is mobilized more than 2,000 observers for  the elections which are taking place in 45 districts.

Its really very hard to took photos and very difficult to get together with the voters, Candidates, security forces, Volunteers, Observers and reporters , because The government has mobilized a total of 272,000 security forces including the personnel of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal, Nepal Police, National Investigation Department and Temporary Police for this elections

We all knew that, In this situation going to election booth together was not possible . That’s why  we decided to participate individually to go to election booth. Early in the morning on 7th December, We have took photos together in front of a  hotel and find out four election booths for our photo walk (Meet-up).

One of our friend @mahatphani  went to Thadatole polling booth, @Raisol chose the Mothiyahi polling booth, @jitendra204 stayed in the Janajyoti polling booth and @bhupalshrestha @sskhadka went shri sublal higher secondary school  polling booth.
