It is a map editing event in Rajkot, Gujarat. The map up is planned in the evening for 4 hours. The aim is to collect location and business details of small businesses to be added to Google Maps. The aim is to get 100 small businesses on Google my business listing, thus making them visible to a larger audience! A team of 5 volunteers will be formed, each person in the team visits physically 20 small business location between the hours of 4:00 p.m to 8 p.m collecting their business information and pictures. If business is already present in Google Maps then update missing details or correct wrong details. Costs are Internet access, transport and food around Rs. 200 per person which is self paid by attendees. All attendees are requested to bring guests so we can cover up most of Kalawad Road Area.
