I'd love to be able to use my photos from external sources without hitting the limit

By external sources, I meant some other photo sharing services like Google Photos or imgur. It's just not very convenient to having download the photo first, then uploading it to the Connect post.

I think it's a known fact that Connect has a hard limit of photos that can be posted. No matter how conservative we are in posting photos, sooner or later we will hit the cap.

I would love the ability to post photos directly from my Google Photos album, and not having it counted against the cap.I know Lithium is not a Google product and I don't know how complex it is to build the feature, but I thought it just makes sense since most Local Guides takes photos with their phone and use Google Photos for storage/ backup purpose.

As for Imgur, technically we can reference an imgur link to get the photo, but (to my understanding)  it's basically getting the photo and having it uploaded, making it to be counted as part of the quota (please correct me if I'm wrong).

I prefer to upload a photo directly from google photos and if there is the location saved in the photo this location will be automatically taken by Local guides connect. I do not want to have the same photo saved in two different locations but only in one location (google photos) and the other services or applications are related to the one in google photos.

I think google have made a new feature to uploading photos on google map . That is ..when a person click any picture to  his mobile,  then there is an extra option in the notification bar or in share option  to directly upload this picture to google map  so that the people who don't know how to upload picture on google map can easily share or upload there picture and become a part of google family as a local guide

When creating a post on Local Guides Connect - Travel, allow a user to import photos from their photos.google.com account so that they can quickly search, find, and add photos to their posts, thereby allowing for faster post creation.

When adding photos it could also automatically filter them based on the location entered into the post for quicker access.
