Goodie Bags for Local Guides for their Meetups and Top Local Guides of Regions/Cities

Hi Google Local Guide Team, 

It is my request to introduce goodie bags for top contributors. As I was selected for Connect Live 18 and since I can't attend the summit because of visa issues, I would suggest this to Google to do send Goodie bags for local guides who are on top in their cities

We, Local Guides as all other human beings, needs motivation. 

We all have our internal motivation(that's why we this).

External factors could play a role too. 

Annual Local Guides Connect is a good motivation, but only less than 200 could participate. Google may be spending millions on connect, but the benifited are very few. 

Google can motivate a lot more, spending lot less (or literally nothing) 

1.  More Drive space, at least to store the photos we have uploaded to Gmaps
2. Less buggy & more responsive GLG Connect site (this site) 
3. App for GLG Connect

During the days of Goggle Map Maker, The precursor of LG, Google rewarded its top reviewers a nice bag TIMBUK2 from https://www.timbuk2.com/ in 2011. I too received one and have it with me even now.

How about giving goodies or perks to the top 1% contributors each month? It could be for a particular country or region. I think I've been pretty unlucky with goodies (sob!) But I think it would be a great idea to keep the contributors motivated. Google sends the progress of contributions each month, so sharing a goodie or perk if you are a top contributor that month would be great! 😊 Don't you think?!
