How do I add a new and faster route to google map?

Map link to the place

I have visited a new Picnic Spot in my Locality (Jamtara, Jharkhand). I marked that place in google map. But google map is showing a route to that place which is much longer  than the actual route which I had taken.

Is there a way by which I can Add New, Better and Faster Route to google Maps?

It is unlikely this is considered a mappable feature and should not have been added. Does this place have an official name, seems unlikely? If not then you have used a descriptive name which is not permitted.

 

There are billions of nice places to stop for a picnic around the world, they can't all be added to the base map. Such features can be added to custom maps  https://www.google.co.uk/maps/about/mymaps/
