We’re sharing the news here first with our community on Connect: Guiding Stars is back and bigger than ever for 2021! On Wednesday December 8th, we will premiere our first-ever community-wide digital event on YouTube at 9:00 AM EST / 7:30 PM IST / 11:00 PM JST.
Join us as our Director of Community, Mara Chomsky, reveals this year’s 50 Guiding Stars to the world. You’ll also hear from Googlers who work on many of the features you love, and get a closer look at how fellow Local Guides are bringing their passions to Google Maps to help others.
While we aren’t able to gather in person, we think this experience will bring us closer as a community as we celebrate the many superstars who are guiding the way for others. We hope you will tune in! If that time doesn’t work for you - don’t worry - it will be available as a replay afterwards.
