The other side of Manchester

I love posting about Manchester. I wasn't born here but I came here to university and stayed.  Manchester was the first city of the industrial revolution and the city centre was developed in the gothic renaissance style which was popular at the time. The city area is full of history and the museums highlight significant events such as splitting the atom in 1917 and the first stored instruction computer program in 1948. It's a really diverse area with some great places to eat and drink. We have a large Chinatown, an asian curry mile, a Jewish quarter in Prestbury, the Northern Craft village in the centre and a stunning new media area around Salford quays. Manchester is famous for football and music but after bringing a family up in this area I know there's so much more to share.

That sounds really awesome. I like the diversity.
