Czech Republic is known to be a coutry of beer, people dressing not fashionably, tourists dying on holidays and home of some cultural and sport celebs. But did you know that it is (even more appropriately than the other attributes mentioned) the land of fairy tales castles and palaces? There are hundereds of them, all are worth visiting, most of them are open for public and many are just must-see places.
I plan to be posting about single sites here in near future and other Czech local gudes are most welcome to help with it. For others, it should be an inspiration for holidays and/or an fun reading with interesting facts to learn.
How about your country? Do you have many castles there? And do you distinguish castle from a palace (not modern urban palace) in your language?

@CaptainHook, yes, in Germany 🇩🇪 we have as well a lot of beautiful Castels. We devide in Germany between Schloss and Burg.
The Burg has Defence Walls and was more to monitor the region.
The Schloss was the Place were the King 🤴 did have his main residence.
In Czech Republic 🇨🇿 I like most cesky krumlov from „historical architecture“ point of view.

Yes, @TorM, Český Krumlov is a real jewel. The synergy of unique natural site and bold architecture with huge amount of elegance in it is stunning.
