I know what you´re taking about, but lets think in how Google process the info, is more complex that we imagine, the are millions of streets in the world and just a few local guides how are doing the right thing (i.e. changing the name´s streets, places, etc.), it takes time, be patience.

Unusual and when it was Map Maker quite frankly was totally awful. My edits got way back logged and got replies from some of the moderation team who could not even spell correctly. The new system seems great and my edits generally are very quickly dealt with and Google with their intelligent machine learning algorithms in my opinion are doing a pretty fantastic job.
