Gaj Mahotsav, a festivas to celebrate the India's national heritage animal Elephant. The celebration encompasses the Elephant's role in ecology, as an integral part of our religion, mythology, culture, heritage and literature. The four days festival organised by Wildlife Trust of India and the Ministry of Environment,Forest and Climate change partnered by the International Fund for Animal Welfare and United Nations Environment. Amongst the list of active participants will be policy makers ,industry leaders, conservationists and will be open to public.
Dance and music performances showcase the Elephant in Indian tradition. Elephant themes paintings and photographs by acclaimed Indian artists will be exhibited with loads of activities for the children. The Mahotsav promises fun learning and entertainment for all ages with something for everyone. Save your dates and join the festivities.
